CHOIR MEMBERSHIP

TO JOIN THE CHOIR: Any boy between the ages of 8 and 11 may audition for the choir. No preparation or previous experience is necessary. There is no tuition or membership fee. Each new boy is admitted to the choir for a probationary period of one month to determine both his aptitude for the choir and his interest in continuing in the program. In this way, neither the boy nor his parents feel pressured into making a decision. Once admitted to the Choir, regular attendance at rehearsals and performances is important. Rehearsals are held twice weekly in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. The Choir does NOT sing on Sunday mornings, so that the boys can attend their own churches. Performance dates vary; see our CALENDAR for this year's schedule of concerts and Evensongs. There are occasional concert tours, such as the 2005 trip to England to sing at Ripon Cathedral, Sunderland Minster, and Carlisle Cathedral.
